The Jolly Buoy Island at Wandoor National Marine Park one of a few heavily-jungled islands and fringed lagoons that boast coral reefs on par with the more crowded shoals of the Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia.
ROSS ISLAND
It was the administrative headquarter in the British period. There are many Victorian buildings here in this 0.6 km long island. One of the many attractions is the Naval Museum, named “Smudrika”. It has an impressive display of coral and shells, and a large relief map of the island's topography. There are deer and peacocks here in the forest. Don’t forget to watch the sunset. You can still see the Japanese bunkers built during the Second World War.
NEIL ISLAND
Neil Island in the Ritchie's Archipelago in the Andaman Islands lies 36 Kms away from Port Blair. With its serene natural surroundings, with beautiful fine white sandy beaches and rich underwater marine life makes it all the more attractive.
