GANGAUR BOAT CRUISE


The Gangaur boat is the original royal barge of the house Mewar. The barge is decorated in royal splendour and lit up to resemble a fireball from a distance. Guests can enjoy a cruise on the lake and view the mystical Lake Palace. A group of as many as twenty five can be served dinner on board, while thirty five people can enjoy a cocktail. This theme is organised at Udaipur.

RAJPUT WEDDING THEME

 
A traditional Rajput wedding ceremony where the group members participate as the "Baraat" (the bridegroom's family and friends who form the wedding party) and the bride's party. The Baraat party arrives with much fanfare, complete with "mashaals" and a local band! The hosts (bride's party) receive the Baraat party and the wedding ceremony is performed under a decorated "mandap" (pavilion). The "meena bazaar" ( a colourful bazaar for the ladies) also forms an integral part of the setting. An elaborate and festive buffet meal, laid out in the illuminated palace- hotel, is accompanied by Shahnai music and folk dances. The traditional "mehendi" (henna) application for the ladies (an auspicious wedding ceremony), is another event that women love to participate in! This theme is organised at Jaipur and Udaipur.

MOONLIGHT BOAT CRUISE ON THE BACKWATERS OF KERALA


Guests are ferried on a specially decorated boat for a delightful moonlight cruise on the backwaters of Cochin. Amidst this romantic setting enjoy South Indian delicacies. A thrilling fireworks display on an island off the backwaters concludes a wonderful evening. This theme is organised at Cochin.

BAZAAR THEME


The poolside area in the lawns is transformed into a marketplace that throbs with activity, people and brisk haggling! The stalls display local arts and crafts and enterprising performers. There are jugglers, fire eaters, magicians, fortune tellers, comedy duos and a caricaturist moving amongst the crowd, creating a magnificent kaleidoscope of colour and sound. A local dance band and wandering minstrels set the mood for a fun-filled night of spectacular entertainment. This theme is organised at Delhi, Jaipur, Bombay, Goa and Chennai.

KUNBI FISHING VILLAGE


Discover the charms of rustic Goa. Local artisans sell you trinkets, curios and coconut palm crafts amid rows of painted fishing boats and billowing fishing nets. And while you relish freshly prepared lobster and jumbo prawns, artistes put up a fishermen's dance especially for you, a gesture of the warmth and cheerful hospitality that is Goa.

SAND DUNES EXPERIENCE


History whispers in Jodhpur's forts, havelis and temples. But there are stories lurking in the stretches of Thar Desert. So take a camel cart ride to sand dunes lit gold by 'mashaals' (lighted torches) and bonfires. Then in the shelter of tents and an even higher canopy of stars, sip a welcome drink while 'Langas' and 'Kalbeliyas' serenade you with Rajasthani dance and music. End an idyllic evening with barbeque dinner and fireworks.
